Last week we introduced you to Steven, this week it’s intern Erika. Erika is working on the Campbell Master Timeline, and has quickly settled in to giving great tours of the house. Without further ado, here’s Erika!
What are you studying and where? Southeast Missouri State University, Bachelor of Arts in Social Science with a history concentration (Editorial Note: This degree is so new, Erika will be one of the first to graduate with it!).
Why Campbell House? Because it’s one of the things unique to St. Louis that makes it great.
What are you working on at CHM? Taking information and adding it to the Master Timeline. (Editorial Note: As we previously mentioned, this is an extensive project we’ve been thinking about for a long time, but our interns are finally putting into action. When it’s finished, the Master Timeline will be a GREAT resource for future researchers, and will help us pin down who went where when and why.)
When you aren’t having a blast at Campbell House, what are you doing? I work full time at the Affton License Office.
What is your favorite thing about CHM so far? Everyday there is something new, intricate, ornate, and beautiful you notice about the house, or inside the house, to look at.
iPhone or Android? iPhone. I’ve never had an Android, though, so I don’t really have enough info to loyally pick a side.
Favorite Color? Teal
Favorite band/singer? Third Eye Blind
Andy Warhol said that everyone gets their 15 minutes of fame. What happened in your 15 minutes? I was nationally recognized by my sorority last year for completing 90 community service hours in one semester.
If you were flung into the past to experience one day, what day would you choose? As sappy as it sounds, October 7, 1988, aka the day my parents got married. I think it would have been meaningful and fun to go to my parent’s wedding.
